Dr. James Thompson
Dr. James Thompson is a third-generation orthodontist, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, who have served their communities combined for more than 70 years. He is honored to carry on their legacy. His mission is to continue to serve his community and to transform lives by creating beautiful smiles.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Dr. James Thompson graduated from Leo High School before earning a B.S. in Biology with high distinction from Indiana University in 2014.
At Indiana University School of Dentistry, he was class Vice President his junior and senior years and admitted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, in 2018.
Dr. Thompson successfully completed the Orthodontics graduate program from Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning his Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.). He has conducted research in the field of orthodontic bio-mechanical sciences.
Dr. Thompson enjoys running, rock climbing, weightlifting, playing volleyball, and exploring the natural world by hiking and camping around Indiana.
